Welcome one…Welcome all
“Believe those who are seeking the truth, doubt those who find it” says Andre Gide, the French Nobel Prize winner (1947) for literature . Before any assumptions and accusations are made, let me clarify…no I have not read his literary work… and no I don’t have interest in literature…and no I had not heard of him before I came across this quote and looked up on wikipedia…so u know whom to blame for any misinformation!!!
The statement itself, however, I find it very interesting and humorous. It is directed, ofcourse, towards those who preach that their definition of GOD is the most complete…but what I find more interesting is how a simple and short statement can mean such a hell lot and depending on the intellect and context, can mean so different to each of those who care to spare it a thought. Just to give a hint as to what I am suggesting, that statement could as well have meant…”there is no such thing as absolute truth”. Such statements tickle your (or atleast my) gray cells…make you think…seemingly precise and yet you can’t be sure. And after a few attempts…you start to think what it could mean to others. A simple statement can teach us so much…never preach…give others a space to make their own opinions…to foster their own beliefs and faiths…and more importantly give them space to THINK.
So then…a big HELLO to all those who are reading this…and being truthful to the theme of this post…you are all welcome to post what you think that statement meant to you. Welcome all to “The Write Side of Me”

Continuing the search for the different meanings for the above statement…here is one by Guass:
“It is not knowledge, but the act of learning, not possession but act of getting there, which grants the greatest enjoyment” !!!
Brilliant. You have a very distinct way of writing. Cris, apt and just! This coupled with a funny bone and some gray cells makes it an interesting read. Kudos!
Welcome to the world of blogging.
As far as the subject of matter is concerned, I have always felt that the writer(irrespective of how significant he/she is in the field) has a responsiblity towards his/her audience. I do agree and concur that what matters most is the writer’s thoughts, the will and the freedom of expression. Each person has his/her own opinion on everything or some could jus get carried away by what you have to say. Words are indeed powerful. Takin these into consideration, both, the reader and the writer must mind each ones spaces, give ample oxygen and fertilizer to flourish and germinate!!what do ya think??
Hey thanks lady
am much pleased…about the topic of discussion…all I feel is this…no matter through what medium…don’t force your opinion or faith on anyone. If you DO want to propagate your beliefs and faiths and opinions…you got to be absolutely clear about them yourself first. Because…if you are not able to answer my questions…all I will do is smile.
